At Crescent Valley Baptist Church we gather to do three main things. We gather to worship God, nurture faith of believers (young and old), and witness to the world of the good news about the Lord Jesus Christ. We are not simply an organization but a family of believers seeking to become more like Christ. We believe the Bible is the word of God and so we strive to teach it with excellence and faithfulness.
Our Beliefs
We affirm the Baptist Faith and Message 2000 as a concise and faithful summary of our faith. We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention, the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention, and the Guadalupe Baptist Association.
Our Meeting Times

On Sunday mornings we meet for Bible Study at 9:45 a.m.
We offer Adult Bible Study and Sunday School classes for all ages and have nursery care for children three years old and under.

We meet for worship every Lord’s Day at 11:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Our worship time lasts about an hour. We have child care in our nursery for children three years and younger. Busy boxes are available for young children to use as they learn to sit in church and participate.
Our pastor aims to preach sermons that are expository, theologically rich and faithful to the text of God’s holy Scripture. We take time for prayer in our worship.
Once a quarter we celebrate the Lord’s Supper together during the morning worship hour.

On Wednesday evenings we meet at 6:00 p.m. to pray. We also have a short devotional led by the pastor or deacons.
On the Wednesday following the first Sunday of the month we have our regular scheduled business meeting for members.
